This is a line I first started pondering back when I had the garage.
And I reflected on it again this morning as I watched a video on using 3D printing to make car parts.
I liked the idea of doing this, but what might that reality be?
Is that really the best use of my time?
Would it be better if I focused on capitalising on a workshop and attracting the talent to produce those creations rather than learning them myself?
These questions are spinning in my mind as I’ve become guarded about my time and commitments. It also makes me question where I draw the line between a business and a hobby.
And why am I tempted to scale everything out in my head?
Concerning cars, it is even worse, as I enjoy them, but I also know I wish to experience their joy at the highest levels (professional racing).
The reality of how expensive racing can become usually plays to my rationale of why I’d need to develop a business (an asset) to fund that enjoyment.
And this brings me back to the above: what or where should I focus my attention to get the greatest return on TIME?
